Social worker | Kaimahi Toko I Te Ora

Piritahi Hau Ora is seeking applicants for a locum social worker position. This is a 3 month locum position for 2 days based at Piritahi Hau Ora.

ROLE

To work collaboratively with the Piritahi Multidisciplinary team. To provide a quality and client focused social work service. To carry out safe, consistent effective and documented practice.

• Provide social work services that are appropriate and acceptable to Maori and others who use Piritahi Hau Ora services.

• Develop social work services that focus on working with and strengthening whanau/families who live on Waiheke

• Work with people in such a manner as to enable them to feel empowered to have control over their own situation

• Encompass a holistic approach by maintaining a strong focus on the four corner stones of Maori Health

  Taha Whanau

  Taha Hinengaro

  Taha Tinana

Applicants must hold or is working towards full Social work registration with the Social Work Registration Board of New Zealand, have a full driver’s license and pass a Police vetting process to work with whanau and children.
