Our information, education, support and counselling initiatives aim to reduce alcohol- and drug-related harm on Waiheke Island.

Piritahi Hau Ora’s alcohol and drug services assist people who have concerns about their own, or a loved one’s, alcohol/drug use. Using a client-focused approach, we offer the following harm reduction initiatives:

• Assessment and goal setting

• Home-based/Social Detoxification

• Medication review

• Co-existing disorders

• Follow-up programs

• One-to-one counselling

• Group counselling

All of Piritahi Hau Ora’s alcohol and drug services are completely confidential.

This service is provided by trained professionals and D.A.P.A.A.N.Z. Counsellors. It is available Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
